Death be not proud!
Charles pleased God. One man who served God and his society well. A rare man who upheld Christianity and the law. |

The Service in the UK Condolences Back to Memorial/Tributes From Jasper Cloete: Condolences Sunday, 13 August 2000 Dear Joyce Owor and family, I trust this message gets to you. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your husband, the late Charles Owor. His death came as a great shock to us as it must have been for you. Charles was a great man in every respect and I count myself privileged for having known him as a friend and colleague in the GNLD business. I believe I speak on behalf of the whole Ugandan team when I say that GNLD business in Uganda today is a monument to the leadership of Charles. His clear mind, gentle spirit and good sense of humour always impressed me. His death is a great loss to us all but I am happy to know that he has merely gone ahead to our Heavenly Father and that one day we will be re-united again. You are with us in our prayer and we pray that one day our Heavenly Father will ease the pain that you must feel and that He will give you the strength and wisdom to travel the road ahead. I look forward to spending some time with you during our forthcoming visit to Uganda. Love, Jasper & Helen back to main list |
