Dear Joyce,
Council and members of the Fellowship of Christian Unions received with great shock the tragic death of our dear brother and friend Charles Owor.
Charles has been a strong supporter and member of FOCUS. We remember his contribution as a committee member of Makerere University Christian Union, founder member of Mustard Seed Choir, Associate Staff, and Founder Chairman of the Christian Lawyers Fellowship, member of council and immediate past Chairman of Council. Charles had a passion for his faith and was not afraid to bring his Christian values in the public enterprise. He believed that Christianity is the good news of liberation for the whole man. He was a Soldier-like Christian whose crusade it was to let the light of Christ shine in the socio-political Arena. We give thanks for the life of Charles, and mourn that he has departed from us too soon! We have the hope however, to see each other again at the feet of Jesus Christ.
