Death be not proud!
Charles pleased God. One man who served God and his society well. A rare man who upheld Christianity and the law. |

The Service in the UK Condolences Back to Memorial/Tributes From Peace Nganwa: Tribute to Charles William Owor My Uncle Charles was killed in an accident while travelling from Kenya to Uganda yesterday - 10 August 2000. His wife Joyce and two children survive him. Uncle Willie - as we used to call him as children - was one of my mother's brothers. He was a handsome, loving, gentle and compassionate man. His first love was God and it is with all confidence that I can say that he is with the Lord right now. For those of who didn't know him, please join us in praying for his family. Pray that God gives them comfort in this time of sorrow. That he gives them understanding and acceptance. I feel that Uncle Charles doesn't need our prayers - after all, he's in the greatest place one can ever be - with God. It is us who remain on earth that need God's love, mercy and grace. God's strength, compassion and peace…. Let us pray for ourselves too; pray that we'll allow God to shine through us, that we'll be able to bless people the way we were blessed by Uncle Charles. back to main list |
