Ministry

COME (Christian Outreach Ministry and Education)
Co-founder
Objective: To empower people at grassroots level, educating them at all levels to manage their livelihood in a better manner e.g. sanitation, literacy, community development generally etc.
Funding: Currently funded by the World Federation Lutheran Church on a yearly renewable basis.
 
LIFE Ministry
Board member & former president
Objective: Outreach of Christian aspects of life in the whole country. Also facilitated the translation of the "Jesus" film in the various languages of Uganda.
 
FOCUS (Fellowships of Christian Unions)
Chairman
Objective: Outreach at tertiary institutions as well as high schools. Went all over the country and held holiday camps for the students.
 
Word of Life
Co-founder
Objective: To hold holiday camps for school children in Mombassa, a coastal holiday resort area.
 
A School
Proposed with wife Joyce
Objective: To provide a wholesome system of education that will cater for the needs of the whole child, especially the spiritual need.
Update: the Owor family has now slated the ten hectare family estate in Gulu district for a memorial school.
