The Service in the UK Condolences Back to Memorial/Tributes Support and Appreciation Message of Support from the Ugandan Community in the United Kingdom and Friends to Owor Family and Joyce Owor and their beloved children Lagum Owor and Lara Owor. The Ugandan Community in Great Britain together with Friends and well-wishers have heard with profound shock the untimely and sudden death of your beloved son Charles William Owor, father to Lagum Owor and daughter Lara Owor and husband to Joyce Owor. At this moment of great hurt and pain at the loss of our dear brother Charles, we would like to extend our sincere heart felt sympathy to all members of the family and especially to his widow Joyce Owor and his children Lagum and Lara. May the compassion and grace of our Lord bring to you relief and comfort at this difficult time. The death of Charles is a great loss not only to the family but also to his friends, the entire Acholi tribe and the Ugandan nation as a whole. He has left a big gap that will be hard to fill. Members of the Ugandan community in Britain remember Charles for his unique personality and capacity to bring together people of all ages, denominations, tribe and nationalities. Charles was a man of God and a born again Christian. He shared with many of us the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ. Members of the Hounslow Pentecostal Church, London, UK where Charles used to pray while on visit to England have asked that their message of sympathy be conveyed to the family and to assure them that they are with you in spirit at this difficult time. Mr. Charles Nyeko Lacek of Exeter, Devon was Charles' best man also sends messages of support and sympathy. We would like to reassure Charles' widow Joyce of our support. We will continue to pray for her and the children. We pray to God to give Joyce the strength and courage to carry on with the good work and ministry where Charles has left. To the children of Charles; Lagum and Lara, we would like to pray to God to comfort them and protect them. Charles was a loving father to his children whom he and Joyce brought up in love and the fear of the lord. We pray that the children should carry on with the same Christian heart and to practice their faith. Charles' life was and will always remain an inspiration to all of us. We feel deeply privileged to have known Charles and shared with him different moments of faith and worship. This good memory will remain with us and continue to guide and inspire us. Finally we thank all the friends and relatives in Gulu and Uganda as a whole for their support and encouragement to the family of the late Owor. Please continue to support the family at this difficult moment and to pray for them. We will also continue to pray for the family and for all of you. May God grant our beloved brother Charles William Owor everlasting rest and peace on high in Heaven God Bless You All Amen. |
